We all know how important realistic mouths are to enhancing the overall experience of a sex doll. Different doll manufacturers have made great strides in helping doll enthusiasts realize increasingly "real" mouths. A lot of work has been done, especially in the last two years, from last year to this year.
Perhaps a few years ago, the only additional feature available was a TPE removable tongue. Maybe you heard about it back then, and in the absence of newer upgrades or buyers just looking for a free simple tongue for occasional use, this is usually still available.

Later WM Dolls introduced a one-piece tongue with a cantilever. To date, this feature is available on almost all WM Dolls heads as well as several other brands in our catalog. The integrated tongue and uvula are usually a paid add-on that you can find in the customization section. If you do not find this option in the customization section, it means it is not available. However, keep an eye out for future changes, as some manufacturers may start adding tongue and overhang as a default feature or offer it for free during certain promotional periods. In this case, you will be notified of the change in product description/promotional information.
WM doll tongue and uvula
The largest and possibly most innovative manufacturer, WM Dolls, released a fun and quirky set of removable teeth and tongues in 2018. This kit can be added to a WM Doll customization or purchased separately. The kit should be compatible with most brands of mouths in our catalog. We recommend considering this add-on only if your doll does not have an integrated tongue and the shape of the mouth allows for successful installation of the kit (e.g. smiling mouths do not fit well).

The newest oral enhancement is the removable jaw, usually associated with a more realistic set of integrated teeth. As of October 2022, three brands in our catalog offer this exciting option.
Threeway introduced the "Adjustable Mouth" feature in early 2020. Here's our blog post about it. As you can see, this option is available on many Three way heads. We didn't have an oral sex demo of Triple H's adjustable mouth, so we can't say whether this is an improvement over the regular mouth.
As we write this post, Nine Sheng and WM Dolls are rolling out their own upgraded mouths.
Nine Winners is currently offering this option on three heads. Here's an extensive video demo that includes an impressive oral sex test. As you can see, Nine Lives' upgraded mouths also have better-sculpted teeth.

Heads with removable jaws tend to have a slightly open mouth as a default feature, as shown in this video comparing the regular silicone and soft silicone FanReal doll head "Maria".
What the future holds
First of all, we expect the ROS feature to be available on more and more devices. At some point in the future, the ROS mouth may become the default mouth for all quality sex dolls. After that, it's hard to imagine further enhancements that don't include any form of robotization. One thing is for sure: with the endless creativity and desire for the excellence of Chinese reality doll manufacturers, the future of sex doll mouths looks quite exciting.
